Thanks for the nice words. I do have a lot of fun making Touch Drawings. This is how I get the various colors. I ink up 2 – 3 different Plexiglass with a different color on each. I also dab, usually, 2 different colors from the tube end around on the plexiglass then roll them in different directions to vary and mix the colors together until I think I like the mix. Sometimes you get more interesting results by not mixing too thoroughly.

Probably mostly due to my years of experience in mental health I wasn't really nervous or scared of the process of facilitating TD, in fact, I love experiential group work. I've also taken various courses in expressive arts, attended workshops, etc. and each time I pick up some new tools and skills. Over the years I've also come to trust that I don't have to control things nearly as much as I thought I needed to. The process of Touch Drawing and sharing it with others is so powerful in and of itself - your own love and belief in the process will do much to carry and create the space for others to experience it. It might be good to offer it to a few trusted and supportive friends first. I facilitated my first TD group with some women with whom I had just taken a metaphysical course and we were all "primed" to do TD together - it was powerful and gave me lots of confidence to move onto other groups. I also didn't charge the women anything as I asked for their input and feedback on my style and the overall process and I considered that payment enough. Good luck with it - just trust and take the first step.

You can see many in their 'unenhanced' state on my website - http://www.touchdrawing.com. Go to GALLERIES and click on Interpretive Touch Drawing/conference art. There are humdrends there, most just as i ddid them in the moment with not extra color of any kind....For me, the doing of the drawing is the finding of the image. But this doesn't mean that you might not find a way of drawing in which you 'discover' images after the movement of your findgertips. I sometimes just dance my hands on the page, look at it and then see so0mething 'in potnetial' and then bri9ng it out in Touch Drawing. Then more color and refinement can be added later in other eways. I hope this is clear.

All images on the site are either "raw" Touch Drawings or "enhanced" touch drawings. The more "finished" paintings are touch drawings done on tissue paper that I mount with mat medium (glue)..on either watercolor paper or
a canvas. Then I enhance the painting by adding color using pastels, water colors or acrylics....carefully...to loose the freshness and energy of the original touch drawing.
