Touch Drawing Community

The sharing of inner portraits went through the late afternoon and into the evening. Each experience drew out a deep life story. We are in awe. We moved into silent time in the mid evening. I will take about 12 people to the old growth forest for their silent time today. There is an ancient cedar that serves as an altar - this and many others saved from the loggers by our community standing in protection in 1981.
I love the deep silent day at the Gathering. I can rest into it as I lie in the field in the night.

greetings to all at the Gathering from Maine. There is a gentle rain falling tonight after 2 days of warmth and much needed sunshine. I can feel the larger circle embracing and reaching out. The photos and comments bring us closer to one another. From my heart to yours and thank you Deborah for including those of at at a distance.

Namaste to all~
I am home in central Texas in the intense heat, wishing I were somewhere cool--
for the first time, I have done several touch drawings...even though I have known of this process and been reading here, I had not ever stopped and taken the time to try it for myself--so much grief and loss was in my life, but today I have started. I am having a few 'technical difficulites' in that the emerging images are not showing up well at all...am thinking I may need thinner paper--am using lightweight butcher paper; or maybe I am applying too much ink? I had some water soluble printers ink, which I am using. I will continue to see what happens. I so want to be there with you all--hope to plan it for next year!

Hello all.
As I sit here viewing the pictures of you in the Sanctuary, I remember the hushed, fragrant peace that enveloped me when I first entered it. How I wish I were there with you all. As I have been going through some personal difficult times, I plan to take the afternoon today and transport myself to that space. It will be interesting to see what drawings come forth. Thankyou for welcoming me into this timeless space with you.
