Touch Drawing Community

I wanted to share the news of my new business here with all of you in different corners of the country and the world because this online community has inspired and influenced me greatly, and I really should thank you for the thoughts, art work, and reflections you share here. I love coming to this site each day to see what is new and I hope that by sharing this with people who already hold the same beliefs as I do regarding the process of art as a healing practice we are collectively contributing bringing this knowledge and practice to more and more people. The more of us that are sharing our vision, talent, knowledge and gifts with others, the closer we get each day to the "tipping point" of a critical mass of people whose ability to effect change in the world becomes exponentially more and more. It wasn't long ago that only a select few knew of and dared to talk about the healing powers of the arts, and now major hospitals are creating entire programs and wards dedicated to incorporating the arts into their patient care models. The field has gained a lot of ground, and there is so much more we can do!

The foundation of my business, NowHere Healing Expressive Arts, is the belief that our bodies, minds and spirits heal only when we are fully present in the Now and Here. There are many "door ways" through which we can enter the present moment - Touch Drawing being one such powerful way. It is an amazing gift that Deborah has birthed into the world! I love sharing her story with the people I work with as it is such a clear example of a person being present and open to the gifts that can come to all of us from our source if we are awake enough to listen. It is my desire to help bring these various tools to my immediate community and help people find new ways to feel more empowered and be increasingly in charge of their own path toward healing and wholeness.

I have created a blog: www.nowherehealingexpressivearts.blogspot.com as well as a website: www.nowherehealing.com. Both are still evolving, but I wanted to invite you to visit them even as they are today.
