Coments on An Art Continuum show

A lot of the art I make has layers of meaning or experiences that involve the conscious and subconscious. That includes my photography as well as my pottery. I've admired so called "primitive" art and symbols and have created some of my own, filling sketch books with them. I have included some of them in my ceramics, prints, paintings and have computerized some. These influences continue to appear in my Touch Drawings. I also like to find "abstract" images in nature with my camera and have created a few marsh pastels from them. I have a deep love and respect for nature and Thee Creator.
