What brings you to an interest in Touch Drawing or SoulCards?
I took my first TD class from Deborah in 1999, I believe it was. I had previously found the TD book in a used bookstore while traveling and became instantly fascinated and tried it on my own with some success but nothing like taking a class from Deborah about a year later in Berkeley, CA. Taking that class sent me on a journey of 500 touch drawings within the next year. I still do TD as a meditative practice and as a substitute for "Morning Pages" from the book, The Artist's Way.
My experience applies to:
Art, Creativity, Spiritual, Intuitive, Meditation, Expressive Arts
Other areas of interest & experience
I teach meditation classes with my husband. I've also been practicing a moving meditation called Authentic Movement for many years. In addition to TD I also make art using acrylics as well as digital art. I do "Soul Readings" using Motherpeace Tarot cards.
My biggest passion is expressing through art the Divine essence that underlies everything. I experience art in general, and TD in particular, as healing as well as spritual journey.

Share a special experience with Touch Drawing or SoulCards.
I remember a very profound experience during an exercise at the 2001 TD Gathering. We paired up and each took a turn drawing for the other. We were "tuning" in to the essence of that person and just allowing what came to emerge on the page. It was a very powerful experience of just being with that pure essence beyond either of our personalities and clarity of the art that flowed through was amazing and very different from when I'm drawing for myself. I think those were some of my best drawings. I gave them to her.
