I tightly fan them on a table usually when I have sessions. Sometimes I deliberately call attention to them - maybe with women who have experienced various forms of abuse, with transgender and crossdressing men -- people who need another way to open dialog, inner connection, and comfort for self expression. Sometimes I just leave them there and if they are drawn to them, we explore them more...They have been very powerful tools to open the healing and trust process.
Is there anything else you would like us to know about you?
ummm -- sure, but what? Just ask...

gone and back and so on

wow - hard to believe it's already been a year since I've surfed around in here...this community is such a rich and welcoming and informative place it makes me wonder - what have I been so busy doing? That would take a long time typing...but touch drawing is becoming a regular tool in the work I do - I wake up with a series of images in my head, like I've been dreaming of TD sessions. Does that happen to anyone else? Maybe I should keep the supplies by my bed, pull them up and with my eyes… Continue

I've Done It!

AHA! NOW I can change the "Have you done TD?" from a no to a YES -- Finally! I spent a bit more than an hour - sometimes lost in the imagery in my head, sometimes just experimenting with technique (what will happen if I do THIS -- ha HA!) Magnificent fun! Perhaps I'll get around to taking a pic of them and putting them in -- I'm sure it will be interesting to have an "evolution" spot here, as these are pretty primitive... but ooooooo, I wonder what's coming next??? MWAH…

Hi Deb
Thank you for writing your responses about my drawings. I love sharing this work in process and in product. You just initiated yourself into TD! Congratulations.... sounds like you wanted to do it for awhile. It is a fun and spontaneous way to express oneself. Some surprising things sometimes show up for us in this work even months after the drawing is made. Be sure to share them with us on your page. Love to have you on my friends list and I on yours. Briefly visited your website and saw that you are a hypnotherapist - very interesting to me. What is a CT? I am a CMT (massage therapist, you probably know that). Keep on drawing and have great fun.
Much love to you.

Welcome, Deb. I am interested in knowing more about how you have been using the SoulCards. i am about to put together my next e-newsletter. Would you like to write a short article - giving a general context of how you use them and a brief specific story? Check past newsletters on the webiste to see examples and let me know.

I checked your website and see that you are in Keene new hampshire - My sister is a professor at Keene State college in the School counselor masters degree program, which she developed. She lives in Amherst.

I think Touch Drawing could become another very strong tool for you in your work with people. do you know that I will be giving a weekend workshop at Rowe Conference Center in Rowe, MA Dec 7-9. ( details below)

December 7-9 Rowe, Massachusetts
