I would like to offer a 1 day touch drawing workshop here in my community of Chico California. I can accomodate 10 people. I am musing about supply cost and workshop fee and would love some feedback from your experience as it appears that you have facilitated many workshops. If I supply boards, paper, brayer's and paint to use in session I am wondering about $25. as supply costs and $40. for the day. Any comments and feedback appreciated. Blessings all ways. It feels like there is a strong blossoming energy around Touch Drawing in general these days. Great peole contacting us, ordering materials, just writing about how they love doing Touch drawing, joining the community, etc! I am really glad to hear you plan to come to tha Gathering this year. If you want your choice of private room, register soon. New people who seem really called are signing up. I haven't even sent out a full announcement about it this year yet. A paper postcard is going out this week though, to 8,000 people - I haven't sent one in years. Just a good energizing thing for the website, Gathering, etc, and get people who to sign the email list because we only have emails for about half our people.

My interest is in: Touch Drawing Personal Use, SoulCards Personal Use, Facilitating Touch Drawing, Facilitating SoulCards

What brings you to an interest in Touch Drawing or SoulCards?: I was initially drawn to TD to jump start my own creative blocks and to access personal imagery. After awhile of doing it I realized it also gave me the opportunity to access my deepest wisdom with a Soul connecton with the Divine that also allows for the ever changing nature of being human and of the One Light. I also find it a wonderful way to introduce people to inner work that is not intimidating or complex. My desire as a person of service is to help people express and create their lives through art and creativity, surfacing their authenticity and the essence of their Be-ing. Just about any circumstance that needs assissatnce I believe TD can be of benefit.

My experience applies to:: Art, Creativity, Spiritual, Intuitive, Health, Hospice, Grief, Meditation, Expressive Arts, Creative Art Therapy

How did you find out about the Touch Drawing Community?: I have attended the Gathering since 2001 and have been part of it's evolution.

Have you facilitated Touch Drawing?: Yes

In what setting have you facilitated?: My own studio, group space at wellness centers, hospital class room, residentail rehab. facility, in home.

I attended the Annual Touch Drawing Gathering on Whidbey Island, Washington: 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2003, 2002, 2001

Share a special experience with Touch Drawing or SoulCards.: My father came to me after his transition through my drawings. I felt all his aspects and was able to be more at peace with his physical absence and to embrace his spiritual presence.

Do you facilitate SoulCards with others?: Yes

If so, with whom and how?: I use them at the beginning of TD sessions, asking that they pull a card, speak to its message for them, then take it in as a possible resource or ally with their drawing session. It helps with the concept that their drawings are a source of information for their journey also.
