What brings you to an interest in Touch Drawing or SoulCards?

My daughter Haley suprised me with Soul Cards as a gift several years ago. She knew I would love the strong imagery since I have struggled as a creatively blocked artist.

My experience applies to:

Other areas of interest & experience

I only did my first touch drawing in March after my mother's passing.
It was an amazing experience! I felt as if my hand was guided and my mother was showing me the way. (see the June newsletter)

Share a special experience with Touch Drawing or SoulCards.

I used SoulCards with my parents during what would be the final days of my mother's life. It was a profound and moving experience that brought the three of us closer together. It was amazing how the images spoke to each of us and helped us express our feelings. Some days we had to dig deep for meaning in all the pain and just "be" without any answers. Some days were full of hope and joy but through the use of SoulCards we were drawn into important conversations that we would have not had otherwise.

Do you facilitate SoulCards with others?

Not yet but I plan to.

If so, with whom and how?

I would like to start a women's creativity group in honor of my mother.' She never gave herself the gift of time and I see so many
women that shortchange themselves. I would like to stir the waters of creativity and see SoulCards as a perfect way to open the door.

Is there anything else you would like us to know about you?

I am continually amazed at what Spirit puts before us if we open and available to recieve. Life is remarkable even in the most difficult of circumstances.
