Cynthia I am really sorry I couldn't make it Saturday, but I live in East Sac so I'm looking forward to seeing you in Sept 12th. BTW, I just watched the Touch Drawing video again last night after a more than a year and am (again) so blown away by Deborah and her obvious divine connection. Wow! I feel inspired once again to have at it. Been doing mostly brush & ink lately. Now, I have a question for you: Your work, and of course Deborah's, usually has multiple colors. How does this work? The demo shows one color of pigment rolled out and but how do subsequent colors get applied? If you roll out a second color, and put the paper back down, the 2nd color would get all over the first layer. Can you please enlighten me on this? Thanks!

hello cynthia....i am claudia, attended my one and only gathering in '04 but am still attached by my heartstrings! i WILL BE BACK next summer! i am enjoying your work so very much and am very curious about how you present Touch Drawing, as Touch Drawing Playshops! can you tell me more? is this a concept i might be able to "borrow", to spread the wonder of TD further in my neck of the woods? i facilitated a workshop for the first time last fall but when it ended i let it go due to needing HAND surgery, of all things, and then life took over, you know how that happens, so i haven't done another workshop yet...but the feeling i get about Playshops appeals to me; i think i may have presented TD "too seriously" the first time around...some of my ladies in the group were really expecting metaphysical transformation FOR CERTAIN from what i shared with them!! i think i need to present more...PLAYFULLY the second time! :>) anything you feel comfortable sharing would be greatly appreciated! thank you and keep TDing...you are so filled with talented spirit! hope to meet you at a Gathering!

Hi, Deborah!
This is a good thing, it gets the word out to my list and others, and.... it brings people to the website to learn more. Glad you set it up. You and your efforts inspire me. glad to be a part of it all, maybe I'll get to another gathering one day in the near future.

I'd like more info about the workshop on June 28th. I'm sensitive to the oil-based paints. Would that be a problem (is the area well-ventilated?) Thanks!

Cynthia, Please feel free to post your TD workshops in the Events section here in the Community. Deborah would love to see that become more active and we get requests all the time from people looking for TD and Soul Card workshops/events.

Thanks!

His note:
Hi, my name is Matthew Erickson. I found a painting done by a member of Touch Drawing, and would like to use a rendition of it for an album cover I will be releasing hopefully in the near future. The
only problem is that I used the link from the painting to find out
where it is from, found your page, but cannot find the artist that
did the painting to ask them permission to use it. Would you know
yourself, or know of someone who might know who created the painting?
I would paint a version of it myself, but I really enjoy the nuances
of the painting and wouldn't mind sharing any proceeds from the album with the artist and/or Touch Drawing. The painting can be found at www.myspace.com/matthewericksonmusic . Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Skyblossom Art Show

Had a wonderful event at my home last Saturday. With help, we turned it into a gallery. Artwork was hung and displayed everywhere possible. Quite a few people came, some items sold, and many enlightening comments were made. It was great to get reactions and feedback from so many different people. I am encouraged by this and encouraged by my new commitment to share my work in a new show every month. People who care come forward with many new ideas for exhibiting and selling my art. They also ask… Continue
