What brings you to an interest in Touch Drawing or SoulCards?
I was introduced to soul card years ago and fell in love with them. I have been using art to explore spirituality, nature, personal growth and healing for years in a variety of settings, including women's groups, churches, schools, mental health settings etc. I love the "flow" of the touchdrawings and the intuitive nature of both the drawings and cards.
My experience applies to:
Art, Creativity, Education, Social Work, Spiritual, Intuitive, Teens, Health, Abuse, Grief, Hospital, Meditation, Expressive Arts
Have you done Touch Drawing?
Yes
How did you find out about the Touch Drawing Community?
From the website.
Have you facilitated Touch Drawing?
Not yet but I plan to
Do you facilitate SoulCards with others?
Yes
If so, with whom and how?
I have used the soul cards just as an intuitive exercise during workshops..or a way for people to introduce themselves or practice their intuitive skills. I have used other sets of cards (animal cards, the various tarot cards, tree cards etc.) It is always wonderful to see the conversation that arises from the cards. I have not facilitated anything specifically just around the cards...but would love to learn more about what others are doing.
Is there anything else you would like us to know about you?
I feel most at home in nature, quiet spaces, and making art alone or with others. I love exploring our spiritual and inner thoughts and feelings and experiences and believe this world is made up of far more than we can explain by our "modern" culture. I find the most joy watching people tap into their own inner wisdom....and the joy that comes from opening to the love and healing spaces within us....even under the most difficult situations. I believe art is one pathway to access such experiences.
Hi Lori,
Sounds like maybe I should look this guy up (for you). Our earth nest experience continues to embrace me deeply and my story continues to transform as I hold it close. There is a wonderful post-energy from the Gathering..hope that you are feeling the wave!

Lori!
Thank you for your notes. I must warn you that my email contact is not quickly returned. I realize that what is so wonderful about connecting with you is that I feel that you are a projection of me into my future (if that makes any sense).Your website is beautiful and your depth of wisdom and gifts...inspiring. Yes, you noticed my shadow, and it will emerge. Blessings to you and your packing muse. Susan St Thomas is the mandala artist in S.F. and Rebecca La Mothe is someone here in Portland. Let me know if you need help finding them. Nancy Bright ( Bright creatiions) also may be someone. She mostly has cards and wonderful mandalas of animals and maybe more...and a kindred spirit!
Blessings and Light,
Shemaya
