When completely emersed in the process of Touch Drawing, the soul inevitably stirs from slumber, encompassing our bodies as vessels and breathes life, emotion and transcendence into the world around us. Share your experiences & stories.

Discussions will revolve around TD as both a sensible and supersensible art process, touch drawings as art objects made to be displayed, and TD as taught in a school setting as an art practice that expands students’ art-making abilities.

Ah, now I feel what you are saying abt working from the sense of Touch......It is also powerful to do Touch Drawing for the collective. We spend some time focusing on that at the Touch Drawing Gathering each year.

Welcome Francine - I would love to se some of your tapestries. Is that a tapestry of the tow towers with a rainbow on your icon? Touch dDrawing could be a great way to deepen into image exploration for eventual emergence as tapestry....

The best way to begin doing Touch Drawing without a workshop would be to gather with a freind or maybe 2 or 3 friends to draw together. You can find more helpful info at the CFTD site - Glad you renewed you SoulCard connection, too.

Blessings, Deborah

I have not yet used TD as an art form yet, nor as a means of expression, but am looking forward to working with it. I am a spinner and weaver by inclination, and find that much of my spinning is done far more by touch than by sight. Most too, of my tapestries tend to be tactile rather than visual, so it seems to me that there is a natural extension in TD to what I already do to create...
