My experience with soulcards came during a time in which i was doing a lot of meditative altar work. what i found, personally, was that the purpose of an altar and the implementation of the soulcards on my altar was that i was able to create an exte…

SoulCards Personal Use, Facilitating SoulCards
What brings you to an interest in Touch Drawing or SoulCards?
I have discovered a way to utilize Soulcards and the Visual I Ching together to create an externalized personal pathology and interpersonal relationships report.
Like a weather report for one's spirit, psychology and the relationships that one maintains with each person they know.
Using an Altar and a poster board for mounting it becomes a sort of map of the subconscious, conscious and superconscious communicating to each other. i hope to have some pictures to put up in the next few weeks.
I contacted deborah and she was very kind to let me know about this community. Over the course of the next few months I hope to be able to begin a more concrete, codified form of the technique to disseminate as it solidifies....for those interested of course.
My hope is that it can prove extremely beneficial and even be (via certain modalities) a psychologically therapeutic technique that can be considered a valid practice on both sides of the transpersonal/traditional psychology fence.
I was first exposed to soulcards when I was working for the omega institute in rhinebeck, ny. Since then i have gone on to other things (media production, electronics and civil engineering) but am returning to this ground due to a reintegration into the transpersonal psychology field. technically, i am a graduate student (communications and leadership) at the jesuit founded gonzaga university but will be returning to my old school naropa university next spring to study grad level transpersonal counseling psychology.
i own a small design firm that manufactures environmental protection habitats for street-dwelling homeless persons (a real solution is in the works!) and computer interfaces...toys for kids and healing controls for those with hand problems like arthritis and carpel tunnel.
i am grateful to meet each of you and thank you deborah and thank the spirits that guided you to make such an effective personal tool for awareness and growth. i am honored to be here.
warm regards and blessings,
drew

How did you find out about the Touch Drawing Community?
from deborah.
Have you facilitated Touch Drawing?
No
Share a special experience with Touch Drawing or SoulCards.
the technique i discovered that i described above briefly is one that was blessed to me during a particularly intense period of shamanic investigation in my life. i left the experience and filed it away for future use. funny....the future always becomes the present. here its now.
Do you facilitate SoulCards with others?
Not yet but I plan to.
If so, with whom and how?
i hope to codify a therapeutic subjective psychological technique that will be accepted by both transpersonal and traditional psychology. i then hope to teach the technique to others. encouraging greater personal awareness of one's interpersonal relationships and inner pathologies is the goal.
Is there anything else you would like us to know about you?
