I am seeking out fellow Mainers who are in the TD community. I was curious where and with whom you used the process. Have you used it in Hospice? I been interested in this type of work for some time after helping a friend pass over.
I live in Stonington, ME. I work as an Ed Tech III at a private school with emotional/behavioral and autistic kids. I touch base with our art therapist and we talked about Touch Drawing. I am hoping she will use it with our kids. She does know the process but just hadn't thought of it for a while.
I have an MA in Arts & Consciousness with a specialization in Transformative Arts Education through John F. Kennedy University, CA. This is how I got interested in TD. We did a lot of art work around who where we and used art as a healing modality.
Cindy, I have jsut disciverd that I have not been notified when poeople request joining the 'group leader ' special interst group. I would like to clarify that this is for people who are running special interest groups in this community. I don't see that you are doing this. Are you interested in running one? I just want to be sure you didn't think this group was about running TD group....its a group for people who are hwlping with this online community. Please let me know if you would still like to be in it and why. thank you - Deborah
By the way, it would be so great of you could upload a picture of yourself into your profile. the site is so much friendlier with smiling faces thatn grey heads.
Dear Cindy 'Drina',
Welcome to the Touch Drawing community! Have you started started touch drawing in a workshop setting or on your own? You might like to check the GROUPS section to see if thre is one that interests you. I am abou to get the site activatesd on the next level, and catalyzing the small groups is one of the priorities.
