What brings you to an interest in Touch Drawing or SoulCards?
Touch Drawing came to me on my last day in art school in 1974. It was an ecstatic, revelatory and playful experience. At the same time, I had a deep knowing that this process was an emergent art form that would meet the needs of the human soul in times to come. I have been spreading the seeds of Touch Drawing ever since.

Thanks Deborah! I'm VERY excited to get into Touch Drawing and I agree it is just perfect for what I do. I've been working on more of an information basis with people for the past 3-4 years and I recently started up the Inner Wisdom & Creativity site because I'm drawn to get hands-on now. I feel people need the hands-on tools and guidance. I'm definitely going to be getting some of your books and other resources! Would love to attend a workshop in person with you one day...putting a trip to the US on my vision board! LOL

Thanks, Deborah -
Everything seems to have a "timing" to it and I have be recently inspired to move forward into another phase of my art/life/path. Touch Drawing is helping me with that transition - also listening to a recommended music/chakra cd in the process - David Ison's Harmonizer.

I am so grateful for your work and your generosity in sharing it.

Touch Drawing Paper.doc

Hello, Hello, Hello!!

I don't know if you remember me but I was a student in your 2009 CIIS class and I had yet to finish my touch drawing paper. Well here it is! The finial document of my academic life. I hope you enjoy. I will also be sending this paper to Jack Weller and I assume he will be the liason for the change of status paper work I have to do now. Thank you so much for offering the class and I hope to participate in another workshop soon.

Warm Regards,
Khara Scott-Bey

Hi Deborah, I'm new here. Will you be having workshops in the near future? Or, do you know of anyone in the NY area who is leading a workshop or would like to get together and do TD? I tried looking for upcoming dates/workshops/& members in the NY area but couldn't find any. Thank you.

Deborah,
I have spent a lot of time exploring your work. I really feel drawn to learn more about touch drawing. I find many of the things you do, I already do, but didn't realize there was a 'name' to techniques I have incorporated into my own drawing styles. I emailed the folks at Window Between Worlds to get more information on their training. I found their website when I first realized I wanted to educate others and do workshop settings to help people overcome pain and I really didn't revist it until you mentioned it. I think what they do is amazing and I really would like to learn more and be a part of them. I want to try out some touch drawing of my own this weekend, lurk around on this site for a bit, and then dip my feet in the water of staring a discussion/group about using this medium for healing of victims of violence! THanks for all your feedback :)

Hi Deborah,
I am so happy to be introduced to Touch Drawing! I am an artist--and a painter, but I often use my hands to blend and incorporate freeing type line in my pieces. And everytime I do that I always think to myself "no wonder fingerpainting as a child was so much fun!! I want to learn more about touch drawing and hope to incorporate it into a workshop setting for victims of abuse.
Thanks
