What brings you to an interest in Touch Drawing or SoulCards?
I personally experienced the magic and profoundness of Touch Drawing when I took a Touch Drawing workshop with Deborah, two years ago, at Omega in Rhinebeck, NY. I live in Wenham, MA and would love to find a community of TD users and/or facilitators in this location enabling me to better stay connected to the process. I think that the synergy and energy that is created by a group of like minded individuals is healing, transformative, and exciting.
Dear Joanne,
Florence!!! My oh my what a wonderful trip... and the healing ranch in TX sounds divine. I also have a dear friend in TX (Dallas), Sara Willerson, who is an equine therapist, who integrates expressive arts and shamanic practices. She knows Laurie and Melissa.
Instead of the 6 degrees of seperation I think it shuld be called the 6 degrees of connection - something my friend Bonnie and I talk about and she has also joined this group.
I'm off to zen while picking paddocks.
TTFN,
Sandra
Oh, sorry, Joanne.... It looks like I can't send you a private email with my contact info unless we are friends....... You can ask to be my friend if you like, and I'll OK it when I get a chance. :)
Hi Deborah, Amanda, and everyone,
It is so good to be connected with such a wonderful group! Sorry for the delay in my reply. This month is very hectic for me as I am preparing myself for a month's stay in Florence, Italy. I leave on July 31st, returning on August 27th. I will be studying printmaking at the Santa Reparata Art School with an American group led by Dan Welden. This is very exciting. That said, I look forward to staying connected with the TD group, exchanging ideas, energies, creative thoughts, and developing friendships.
Amanda, just last night, I spoke with a friend who lives outside Austin, TX who is creating a wonderful retreat place on her property called the Healing Ranch. The healing is centered in and around the energy of horse. She and I spoke about ideas of how to integrate the expressive arts into her offerings. My dream is to have a space wherein the horses co-facilitate with humans a wonderful healing and restorative experience for all attendees. This would be reciprocal to the facilitators and horses as the energy transfers back and forth. I can see the humans coming to the TD space after their horse connection and letting the images flow outward using the TD materials.
Deborah, this idea of having a TD Community is so very exciting. I love it! Thank You!
Hi, Joanne! I am so happy to meet someone else interested in integrating the creative into the equine experience! Please think about joining my Equine TD group. I'm going to send you an invite......... Let's talk about everything TD/equine in there! I'd love to find out what you've experienced!
Hi, Joanne! I have been meaning to contact you and let you know about the Equine therpay group that is already up on this site. Have you seen it yet? Amanda Koh, who came to this past year's Gathering, set it up, and I told her about you. Blessings, Deborah

How nice to see your name on this list. Isn't it wonderful. How are you doing and what kinds of equine arts "stuff" are you doing?
Warmly,
Sandra
