Touch Drawing Personal Use, Facilitating Touch Drawing
What brings you to an interest in Touch Drawing or SoulCards?
Touch Drawing has been a wonderful resource as an inquiry into my personal process. It is a deep and profound process. I currently facilitate it as part of an Art & Healing Certificate Program at Ringling Collge of Art & Design in Sarasota,Florida. It was used recently in a pilot program for Parkinsonians at Health South Rehabilitation Hospital and was so successful that it has now been embraced to be a 12 week Open Studio for this summer.

I have had many incredible personal growth awakenings with Touch drawing. One that stands out is a horse head that i created. When embellishing him with acyrlics I kept painting his mouth over and over agin and just could not seem to get it to feel right. It was very frustrating. I realized that i had for many years been having trouble voicing my thoughts and feeling to an older brother and had just returned from a visit with him that was unsettling. The horse was trying to help me find my voice. The mouth could not come into form until I could allow my mouth (voice) to be true to myself. I called him Power Horse. He hangs on my wall as a reminder of my right to a voice.
Hi Victoria!
It is so nice to see you here. I love the "Horse with Wings"!! I hope you are well - I imagine you are very busy with the gallery, classes and Health South. We're adjusting to life in Montana. It is just beautiful - and there is no lack of horses. I wish I could have one...
Be well. I will look forward to checking in periodically to see your latest works.
