I have often struggled with sending participants home with their sacred tissue paper drawings, knowing that most of them will probably not take the time or energy to mount and color them. I have wondered how they will be able to deepen from their ...

Dear Shemaya,
I wrap your thoughts of me around my body like a healing cloak. Wish I could join you in Boston this year. Feeling very uncreative at the moment but will rally . . . . Let me know about your creative bursts and inspirations. Hugs, and much love, Pat

Dear Shemaya,
How wonderful to get your thoughts and love today. I am just getting over a 3 week virus and your message is giving a boost to my immune system. I hardly ever get sick so I'm listening to this message very seriously. . . My friend in Lynn, Mass (best friends from 1st grade on-- wow, 43 years!!) just sent me an invite to stay with her if I would come up to the Conference this year but it just isn't possible. With you there too it would fill my heart and soul -- feeling very uncreative right now. Would love to hear more about the Gathering this year. Please stay in touch and let me know about your creative bursts and inspirations!!!! Much love, Pat

Shemaya.....do you know a man by the name of Stewart Tait in Portland? He is a massage therapist I think. I dated him. I was madly in love with him at the time...but he was trying to find himself and left me after an amazing summer together to go to Portland to become a massage therapist. We saw each other later in time...and magic had faded but I do hope he is doing well.....and found himself. Thanks for the info on Mandalas....keep in touch girl! Lori

Dear Shemaya,
Thinking about you this evening. I am just about to sit and do some drawings under the beautiful moonlight and your smile came drifting through. Hope you're well and sparkling. With love, Pat

Share a special experience with Touch Drawing or SoulCards.
I think I really got the inner portrait experience last gathering. I was paired Amanda, which was the first time we had met. I had never drawn anything like the drawings that I did, and Amanda continued to immediately recognize them as part of her life. My biggest surprise was the wedding picture Amanda drew. The woman was alone and stood before a place of worship. The week before I was on retreat and had a most powerful experience of being married to myself!
Do you facilitate SoulCards with others?
Yes
If so, with whom and how?
I have been more spontaneous with this as something that may be a gift to the group. I have done this at lunch with strangers whom I met at a workshop, at a small gathering honoring the life and death of a friend, etc

Creating Cards from your Touch Drawings

Creating Cards of your Images

This process is relatively inexpensive and allows you to experience putting your touch drawings out into the world. I highly recommend this for everyone! They can be matted and framed as well as enjoyed as cards.

Get some good quality photographs. Have several copies made in your preferred size. Write up a biography of yourself, titles of your work, and maybe a description of touch drawing for the back of the card. Put this on your portable drive, take it to your… Continue
