Touch Drawing in Hong Kong comes together in 36 hours.

I was whooshed out of Japan on the day after the most intense release of radiation...Sogenji was safe at the times but tensions were so high around possible extreme situations emerging. My Tokyo workshop had been cancelled, so I did feel free of commitments so i went along with it when my sister changed my ticket. the only flight she could get left me stranded in Hong Kong for three days. I posted on facebook that I was going to Hong Kong. When I arrived i found a response on my page from Fiona Chang who lives there. We had met briefly at the International Expressive Art Therapy Association conference. she invited me to stay in her home! Then even more unfolded with vital conversations around her work to start and Expressive Arts therapy program at Hong Kong University. her meeting to present the proposal was the afternoon after we met. Reflecting, brainstorming, networking and the magic of it all helped her to go into the meeting empowered and her proposal was accepted. then she contacted some colleagues and arranged a TD workshop for the following evening. the universe did quite a job to arrange this connection between us. We were in awe!

It really did not feel foreign at all in either Japan or Hong Kong TD workshops - soul space is soul space. I think Asia is calling me back.

Deborah,  I am so thankful you are safe and my thoughts and prayers are with the people of Japan each and every day.  I love the connection you made in Hong Kong - the global energy and awareness of art in therapy gives me such hope.  Bless you and all your participants and thank you for giving us a peek into your experiences.
