I am considering starting a 6-month series of TD workshops open to the community in my town. I have a couple of venues selected, and have been sending feelers out to gauge interest.
My husband is a psychotherapist and wants to recommend the series for some of his clients. I have a few people in my spiritual community who are wanting to work on personal spiritual issues from a creative perspective.
I have experience teaching and facilitating other types of events and circles, but this would be my first time sharing TD with others.
Roberta, If you are just beginning to do any kind of teaching, I suggest you begin by finding even a couple of friends to join you in a regualr Touch Drawing group. You can safely explore, deepen, and experimant with the process in a small group and private setting. Let it grow slowly and by word of mouth. You do not need to jump in to being public. In my first years I did this - firned scame over to draw with me weekly. I also had 1-3 children come to my studio to draw with me regularly. I very gradually worked into holding space for larger groups in a public setting. It can grow very orgnaically this way and you naturally grow into your next phases. I hope this is helpful.
