October 2009 New Moon

I am planning to do some Touch Drawing for the new moon this month and I think that means this Sunday night. Might be interesting after the intense full moon earlier this month. I would love to hear any insights others have about this new moon, and to know of anyone drawing, and to share our drawings here after.

I believe new and full moons are 3 days before and after peak. At least I like to think so, it gives me almost a week window to meet up with everyone.

October is usually my busiest time of year with the approach of Samhain, our festival to honor the Ancestors -- a big one for my group. I have been out of the loop with the moons this month, and it warms my heart to see others working with these energies and with their own souls.

I did not get to draw during last night's full moon. New moons may be better for me for drawing right now--we'll see... Did anyone else have drawings from the new moon?
