Here is a photo I took from a recent group I did at the hospital (please note I do have photo releases from all patients). This particular group had many challenged members, but all said they found the process "very relaxing" and "enjoyable." That was my intent.

Thank you both for your comments! I so apologize that here is is six months later and I am only now seeing these comments... I have been traveling frequently and have another business (which I love, but takes up a lot of my time), and for some reason I did not get either of your comments via email. Regardless, if either of you are still interested in sharing, would like some advice or feedback, I am definitely open to sharing what I know, and invite you to share wins, experiences, seek consultation, etc. Love to you both!

Hi Becky,
I am very interested in connecting with Hasbro Childrens Hospital here in RI. Initially, I wanted to inquire about taking some of my students to create a mural there for the patients. Now I am also looking into perhaps volunteering some TD sessions with patients as well. I have yet to contact the hospital, so I am not quite certain how receptive they will be. But, I can talk like nobody's an appointment will be inevitable. I am hoping to gather some support, share ideas & stories with others within this group & wanted to thank you for creating the forum for discussion. I'll keep you posted!

My name is Lina Brotherton, and I live in Skokie, Illinois. I just came back from a wonderful 3 week program at the University of Florida and Gainsville Florida. The program is called Arts in Healthcare and it was an intensive multi medium experience which included visual arts. I loved it and would like to find a Touch Drawing course in this area. I think touch drawing would be an excellent way to help the healing process for patients in a hospital setting. Does anyone have any information. Also, I would love to hear more about your experiences in the hospital setting.
