Here is a photo I took from a recent group I did at the hospital (please note I do have photo releases from all patients). This particular group had many challenged members, but all said they found the process "very relaxing" and "enjoyable." That was my intent.

Hi Becky,
I am very interested in connecting with Hasbro Childrens Hospital here in RI. Initially, I wanted to inquire about taking some of my students to create a mural there for the patients. Now I am also looking into perhaps volunteering some TD sessions with patients as well. I have yet to contact the hospital, so I am not quite certain how receptive they will be. But, I can talk like nobody's business....so an appointment will be inevitable. I am hoping to gather some support, share ideas & stories with others within this group & wanted to thank you for creating the forum for discussion. I'll keep you posted!

Love,
Tanya

Hello,
My name is Lina Brotherton, and I live in Skokie, Illinois. I just came back from a wonderful 3 week program at the University of Florida and Gainsville Florida. The program is called Arts in Healthcare and it was an intensive multi medium experience which included visual arts. I loved it and would like to find a Touch Drawing course in this area. I think touch drawing would be an excellent way to help the healing process for patients in a hospital setting. Does anyone have any information. Also, I would love to hear more about your experiences in the hospital setting.
Regards,
Lina
