Embodied Practice & Touch Drawing

Swish, scratch, dab, brush...body parts (fingers? toes?) move on paper, guided by an inner prompting. Touch Drawing is a natural portal of discovery & expression for somatic experience. My embodied practice is Authentic Movement. What is yours?

Touch Drawing is such an embodied practice and I am tying in my limited knowledge of Iyengar Yoga. does anyone have any ideas on larger surfaces that could be inked up?

I move, I laugh, muscles urging the bubbles of sound to rise.

I push my fingertips harder onto the thin paper,it rips and paint collects beneath my nails as they slide downward, splitting paper, ragged, tearing down and stop.

Moving with paper and paint and hands and torso. Hips sway, head drops down. Later my neck is soar.

This site is a great idea.I saw it on Jan Thompson's page. By the way, Authentic Movement is also my practice. Thanks. Mary
