Hi to all. I hope this heat isn't taking all your energy out of you. I spent some time drawing this afternoon. It has ended on a peaceful note. A special note to Talia (if she's around).....I see you....wink! I think I will work on finishing some of the drawings tonight, then post them on my site .

Hello to all of the 2009 Gathering participants.

As you were all deeply immersed in your day of silence...I too found some time this afternoon to retreat to my own sacred space, that being within my garden. I made a pot of tea and carried my tools outdoors to find a quiet spot next to my fountain and began an inner journey to connect with you all while touch drawing.

I started with a juicy magenta color and noticed a lot of animal spirits appearing and into orange I had many heart shaped faces appear.....the time just passed unnoticed and before I knew it 2 hours had gone by.

In the end I found myself feeling pleasantly content in knowing that I had managed to reach into the circle of creative souls that are manifesting on Whitby Island this week.

Enjoy your week, Enjoy your experience, It will be Transformative !!!!

Namaste,

Deborah

Silent Day has been as magical this year as it was last year. I am always amazed at what comes bubbling out. I have added 3 of my days drawings to my page in the album titled " The Final Journey". The journey inward is sometimes painful, but freeing at the same time. I look forward to going outward now. I feel ready to explore the far reaches of the Universe and listen to what is given. Sweet Dreams to all. Goodnight :)

P.S. - Looking forward to seeing you, Deborah, at the Expressive Arts Conference at Lesley University in Cambridge Aug 9th. ~ Marion Prochnau

Good Morning, Deborah and All. Thank you so much for keeping us connected to the gathering. I love checking in and have you all in mind and look forward to drawing today. Hey, I want to let you know about the beach at night right now in case anyone wants to go before they leave the island. I came home late to the island last night from Seattle and dropped by Maxwelton Beach to cool my feet since it is even hotter in town. I saw your post that you all went there the other day and thought of the gathering. I have not been to the beach at night in a long time and of course the tide was high and I was delighted to find phosphorescence in the water. The water at its edge was so warm, little waves sparkling as I walked through the water, dragging and swirling a stick I found for just that purpose. So magical!

Our best wishes to those who are at the 2009 Gathering and to the ones who attended in the past. May we all soar to our higher spaces. Agnes Yu invited a few of us to do Touch Drawing and so it happened to be the day coincided with the Community Day. Without even remembering about the day we came up with themes about our community - thanks goodness that our souls "reminded" us about the day! Love to you all. Keiko, Agnes and Donna

I had wanted to draw during the gathering and finally had a short in the early evening yesterday (Thursday). We have a bird's nest on top of the porch light with a second round of eggs this summer, and of course I have had the doors open with all the heat (on Whidbey). One of the birds flew in and was stuck in the studio alI day before finding his way out. I drew after he was gone with the gathering in mind and listening to Carolyn Myss talk about archetypes and us all taking responsibility for ushering in a new world. The bird came to mind while I was drawing. I felt more free in my drawing after I drew the bird. Thanks to everyone and Deborah for sharing and connecting here. (And now I know I can load a drawing after shooting it from photo booth!)
